John Habbert
Member, Queen City Angels
John Habbert is current the Chairman of the Board for OnTrak Software and also serves on the board of five other companies. He is an active member of the Queen City Angels and is Director of the QCA First Funds, three small, State-sponsored technology validation funds that make investments in very early-stage companies. Since 1998, he has been an active small business consultant and angel investor. He has personally invested in over 25 small companies.
Previously, Mr. Habbert was with Crane Connectors, a bankrupt start-up company, where he led the company to profitability within two years. The company grew to over 50 employees, with an international customer base. He began his career at Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati. Over a period of 12 years, he rose through the ranks of the organization with a variety of positions in both manufacturing and product development. He has an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
Mr. Habbert was recently recognized as “2010 Investor of the Year” by Cincinnati Enquirer Media.
