We’re Putting a New Emphasis on “User-First” Following Acquisition by Utopia Kingdom
Syed Hassan-Warsi
We recently announced OnTrak’s acquisition by Utopia Kingdom and a new direction for the company focused entirely on helping our customer users and teams work more efficiently by removing friction from everyday work. This shift marks a clear evolution in how the company builds, prioritizes, and delivers its software.
As distributor organizations grow more complex, teams are asked to manage more systems, more data, and more decisions with the same amount of time and resources. With the backing of Utopia Kingdom, OnTrak is intentionally refocusing the platform around the user experience, using artificial intelligence as a practical, personal helper that works quietly on the user’s side.

Rather than asking users to search through data, reconcile reports, or react after issues arise, OnTrak is evolving to proactively surface what matters, flag potential problems early, and help users understand where attention is needed. The goal is simple: reduce manual effort, lower cognitive load, and help teams focus on meaningful work instead of busywork.
For years, customers have relied on OnTrak to bring order and clarity to complex operations. OnTrak’s acquisition by Utopia Kingdom gives us the ability to make a deliberate change in direction. We are building OnTrak to work for the user, not the other way around. For instance, AI should feel like a personal assistant that removes obstacles, not another system people have to manage.
This new direction is not about adding complexity or forcing users to change how they work. OnTrak’s approach is to support existing workflows quietly and intelligently, helping users do their jobs more easily without introducing new dashboards, steep learning curves, or disruptive changes.
Under this approach, AI will be embedded directly into the user experience to assist with everyday tasks. It will help users identify inefficiencies, recognize patterns in their work, and make better decisions faster using information they already generate.
OnTrak is shifting from software users manage to software that actively helps.
This evolution will be guided directly by user feedback. Initial enhancements focused on reducing manual review, improving visibility, and highlighting actionable insights will roll out incrementally.
